Edinburgh has 8 districts with about 4,000 scouts. The following pages give more information about these Districts, and the Groups which make up their members.

There are also groups associated with the Area rather than with a district. These include Student Scout and Guide Groups at Heriot Watt and Edinburgh universities, and Subaqua Section.
