Merchiston District can be found in the South West part of the City of Edinburgh. The District was founded in 1987 from a merger between the two former Districts of Craiglockhart and Gorgie.
Groups
The District currently has 9 Groups which cater for young people from 6 to 20 including one Group which takes both boys and girls. The District also has three Venture Scout Units.
