Student Scout and Guide Clubs are set up to provide a framework within which students may maintain, renew or aquire contact with Scouting or Guiding.

The Purpose of a Student Scout and Guide Club is:

  • To provide a programme of activites for its members, whether or not they are active in the Scout or Guide Movements
  • To create a wider understanding and appreaciation of the work of the Scout and Guide Movements
  • To give service, as a Club, to Scouting or Guiding and the community
  • To maintain relationships with Scouting and Guiding locally

Students can also help by

  • Becoming a leader or helper in a local Scout Group or Guide Unit on a regular basis
  • Helping occasionaly with a special skill or interest
  • Joining the service team at Bonaly Scout campsite or Longcraig Water Activities Centre or Trefoil Campsite

You can be a Scout and Guide Club member and take up some of these opportunities as well.
